Everyone’s so fucked up and depressed lately that the time has come for me to vent before I lose it. I’m starting to notice within my extended circle of a friends a change in attitudes and behaviour for the worse.
I’ve always valued my friends, especially during high school, as the sort of people who went against the mould and had passionate opinions free from stereotypical & fucked up high school grade ulterior motives. Somewhere down the line this has changed and i can’t pinpoint when, A majority of people i held dear have regressed into narrow minded, selfish scum, going against the values i thought we once all shared. What ever happened to the sense of loyalty and care people once showed? Are you now above that because you go to university/college? Mummy and Daddy still paying your way so fuck everything else? The immediate benefits you gain from a person is more than enough reason for you to “pretend” to be friends with them?
We all grow up and drift apart, that’s how life works, but don’t think for one fucking second that drifting apart and growing is an excuse for you to become a singular, inward looking cunt of a person to the people who got you there. Fuck You.
